Experience We are seeking a Legal Associate to support the firm’s legal and compliance functions, ideally within the asset and wealth management sector. This is an exciting role for someone who is newly qualified or currently working towards qualification as a solicitor. Previous experience or a training seat in any of the following areas is desirable:
Wealth and asset management
Financial regulation and legal/compliance
Commercial contracts
Corporate law related to investment structures, exposure to financial services clients or work within a regulated environment will be highly advantageous.
Requirements
Ideally a newly qualified solicitor (NQ) or a trainee solicitor on track for qualification
Strong academic background and legal training
Demonstrated interest in asset management, wealth advisory, or financial services law
Excellent attention to detail and strong drafting skills
Ability to communicate effectively with both legal and non-legal stakeholders
A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to work independently when needed Familiarity with FCA regulations, investment products, and fund structures is a plus, though not essential.
