We are seeking an experienced GitOps Terraform Developer for our client to act as an expert in infrastructure as code (IaC) practices. This role is pivotal in advising on best practices/implementing best practices and driving forward user adoption of GitOps methodologies at our client’s site. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Terraform and GitOps workflows.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in GitOps and Terraform, providing guidance and mentorship to internal teams.
Design, implement, and maintain GitOps-driven infrastructure automation solutions.
Define and promote best practices for infrastructure provisioning, security, and compliance.
Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Enhance user adoption by delivering training, documentation, and hands-on support.
Identify and troubleshoot issues in Terraform configurations and GitOps pipelines.
Advocate for and implement modern DevOps practices, such as CI/CD, immutable infrastructure, and infrastructure testing.
Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, cost, and reliability.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and improvements in GitOps and Terraform methodologies.
Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes-based platforms).
Strong understanding and practical experience with GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD, Flux, or Jenkins X.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including module design, state management, and policy enforcement.
Proficiency in DevOps tooling, including CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments, including IAM policies, RBAC, and compliance frameworks.
Strong scripting skills..
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
